Status
Status effects are a temporary debuff that can be inflicted onto either a Layer or an Enemy during battle. There are a total of 8 status effects - Poison, Stun, Sleep, Confusion, Blind, Paralysis, Charm, and Silence. All status effects are removed as you clear a stage or move on to the next wave.
Any Layer can inflict a status effect as long they have a skill that allows it, but Tricksters have high LUK stats and specialised kits compared to other units, which can increase the chances of a status effect being inflicted onto an enemy, as well as decreasing the chances of being inflicted by a status effect cast by the enemy.
Resistances
Each enemy and Layer has their own set of debuff resistances and weaknesses. This is an example photo of the debuff resistance page of the N2-5 boss. Some layers can reduce an enemy's resistance, but usually 200% means a debuff is impossible.
