About Ultimate Weapons

Ultimate Weapons, a.k.a Extreme Magic Weapons (極石魔装) have several exclusive, unique abilities and allows the player to switch between abilities depending on the situation. (※Abilities used can be set in the 'Abilities' section in the equipment details.)

Things to note for Extreme Magic Weapons as opposed to upgrading regular equipment:

• Weapon Levels can be strengthened using Anvils, Silver Ores, Iridescent Ores and Gold.
• Ability Levels can be strengthened using Cut, Blow, or Pierce energy orbs.
• The maximum weapon level and ability enhancement level will increase over a period of time and become more powerful.
• Only one Extreme Magic Weapon can be equipped to any layer in a party.
• It is impossible to craft more than one of the same Extreme Magic Weapon even if there's enough materials to make it.

Obtaining Ultimate Weapons and Materials

First, the player can get their first Ultimate Weapon for free by accessing the Extreme Magic Arms Quest, but subsequent Ultimate Weapons must be purchased with Anvils, Silver Ores, Iridescent Ores and Gold on the Upgrade page.

Forging Ultimate Weapons

To forge a new Extreme Magic Weapon, the following materials are required:

• Copper Extreme Magic Anvil x50
• [Red/Green/Yellow] Silver Ore Shards x80
• [Red/Green/Yellow] Small Silver Ore x50
• Iridescent Cloud Ore Shards x666
  • Note: (Red = Sword/Axe/Artifact, Green = Gauntlet/Whip/Staff, Yellow = Spear/Bow/Gun)

Upgrading Ultimate Weapons

Extreme Magic Weapons owned can be upgraded in the Forging page by using the specified materials for the upgrade, the first tab increases weapon stats, while the second tab unlocks new abilities and/or upgrades unlocked abilities. Upgrading any weapon/ability grants "Strengthening Bonus Points", used to unlock new Scenarios. Materials can be mined from the Extreme Magic Arms Quests.

Weapon Levels

To upgrade an existing Extreme Magic Weapon's levels, the following materials are required:

• Copper Extreme Magic Anvil x50
• [Red/Green/Yellow] Silver Ore Shards x80
• [Red/Green/Yellow] Small Silver Ore x30
• Iridescent Cloud Ore Shards x250
  • Note: (Red = Sword/Axe/Artifact, Green = Gauntlet/Whip/Staff, Yellow = Spear/Bow/Gun)

Weapon Abilities

Weapon Ability levels cannot be higher than the current Weapon level. To upgrade an existing Extreme Magic Weapon's ability levels, the following materials are required:

• [Red/Green/Yellow] Mist Orb
  • Note: (Red = Sword/Axe/Artifact, Green = Gauntlet/Whip/Staff, Yellow = Spear/Bow/Gun)

Mist Orbs can be acquired by clearing specific waves in the Extreme Magic Arms Quest (6x5 of each colour every week on Wave-Floor 2) and also by acquiring layers that you don't own. Layers that each player has owned before this new system is implemented with have the Mist Orbs already added to player's inventory. The types of Mist Orbs that can be acquired are those listed in [Mist Orb Types] above, and the amount of Mist Orbs that can be acquired depends on the rarity of the Layer. The amount of Mist Orbs that can be obtained depends on the rarity of the Layer.

The amount that can be obtained when acquiring a new Layer is as follows:

• SS: 100
• S: 60
• A: 30

In the event of a change of heart/mistake, Ability enhancement levels can be reset by using the exclusive item, 'Reverse Winding Pocket Watch', which resets all the ability enhancement levels of the selected Extreme Magic Weapon Ability and refunds all spent Mist Orbs in full.
