Race Human

I am Canaria. I share some memories with that selfish brat Canaria that you know of, but I am a human from another world.

  • This is the original Canaria that originates from another world. See Canaria (Iris Cloud) for the clone.

Profile

Canaria is a researcher of Poison and the Phantom Mist from the alternate universe of Eris Grand, alongside the renegades Youko and Alma that have taken control of Iris Cloud's extremist Resistance faction.

Main Story

Story Arc 3 - World Wall

Canaria first's appearance was being summoned inside the Great Curse Magic sorcery circle, face to face with Yuuzen. Yuuzen almost immediately realised that she's not the already deceased Canaria she knew back in the Resistance. Canaria informs that she's a researcher of Poison and Phantom Mist that's also affecting her own universe, and she wants it gone. Yuuzen has noted that she is exceptionally skilled with both western magic and eastern sorcery, on top of impressive physical combat skills, to which she replies "It's the bare minimum in her world if any research of Poison is to be done". Originally, Canaria's team planned years ago to travel to Iris Cloud for research purposes via mass transference Gates, but an incident happened and Canaria's transfer failed, somehow transferring a part of herself into Iris Cloud, which she still doesn't understand how it happened and is also researching on it. The clone version of Canaria had no memories of the original, and ended up serving under Ricardo's Resistance under Yuuzen's care. Canaria can no longer teleport to Iris Cloud until the clone died. However, Canaria is able to share some of the clone's memories, even if she has no control over the clone's doings. Canaria has some positive interest towards Yuuzen, as she was the only person the clone ever trusted completely. She bade farewell to Yuuzen after Yuuzen tested her shared memories with a very specific question, to which she answered accurately.

Canaria reappeared again in Jusatsu Forest, saving Conductor's team from the army of St. Irish machine soldiers. Conductor's team were very hostile and suspicious towards Canaria however, because of everything her alternate ego has done while she was alive. She shared to the team some of her reasons coming to Iris Cloud - to research Poison and to caption and question Youko for her felony of tampering with her transference magic into Iris Cloud. She assisted the team to seal Youko's movements when she was caught eavesdropping, and accused her of using her ego as her pawn and eventually getting her killed. Canaria left again just before the Hone Ningyou reappeared.

Canaria's last appearance was at the time Paddington was possessed. She quickly stopped Conductor's team from touching the insane Paddington, sharing her reasoning that Paddington's possessor is far more powerful than a Divine Child, and suggesting Islington to use the Divine Child's secret technique to exorcise her just like the Divine Children from her own world. As she prefers to research Phantom Mist alone, Canaria once again bade farewell and teleported with her Gate, after the magical steel thorns blocking the way was cleared with the nearby altar using Conductor's powers.

Madrid exhibit Tren de Gran Canaria.

Tren de Gran Canaria (TGC, the Train of Gran Canaria) is a proposed railway on the island of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. It is planned to run from the island's capital, Las Palmas along the eastern coast of the island, serving Gran Canaria Airport and terminating in Maspalomas. First announced in 2004, construction on the line has not yet commenced due to funding difficulties.

Between 1893 and 1944 steam tram ran between Las Palmas and Puerto de La Luz. The line was electrified in 1910, although the line reverted to steam traction in 1944, when trams were hauled by a steam locomotive known as La Pepa. A reproduction of this locomotive is now on display in the Elder Museum in Las Palmas.

San Telmo Park.

In 2009, a full-scale mockup of the proposed Gran Canaria train was put on public display in San Telmo park, Las Palmas. The plans were approved by the Autonomous Government of the Canary Islands, and a planned operational date was given as 2015. The Cabildo's Autoridad Única del Transporte de Gran Canaria formed a public company called Ferrocarriles de Gran Canaria to manage the construction project. The total cost of the scheme was estimated at €1,500 million.

In January 2018 the Ministry of Development and the Cabildo announced that almost all the contracts had been awarded to enable construction to go ahead, including alterations to the route. Funding of €25.28 million has been awarded to the project by the Spanish state. However, there are still some funding difficulties that prevent the beginning of the construction on the line and the railway. As of 2022, it's still unknown if the construction of the line will ever begin. Wikipedia
