Oh, there they are. Those twerps from the SSS, they're all here on the ground. Now is our chance... Of course, Ville, there's no way we can back down after coming this far.

Profile

Fréthun is a follower of the Mistism cult. Her first appearance is in Opening! The Athletic Meet of Five Countries, working together with Choushi and Ville to revitalize the currently split group by disrupting the Athletic Meet, albeit they were not successful and fled. Of the trio, Fréthun has the most common sense and serves as both their leader and the straight man in forming plans and figuring things out.

Relationship

  • Fréthun - Currently a fellow follower of the religion and is working together.
  • Ville - Her older sister. Currently a fellow follower of the religion and is working together.

Event Story

Opening! The Athletic Meet of Five Countries

Fréthun's first appearance is in this event during the event's lunch break, as they've infiltrated the SSS facility and were trying to disrupt the event and jeopardize the SSS's reputation. Their first attempt was to spread many fake masks in the third event (at their own major financial expense), but it was not effective at all. On their second attempt, Choushi summoned a majin demon who she lost control of as she's not quite successful with her sorcery. Nevertheless, it is still very resilient and took some effort from multiple Train Knights to be taken down. The trio fled after getting zapped by Islington, picking up a very devastated Choushi after Shimoamazu the First's remark towards her summoning ability.

Trivia

  • Fréthun and Ville are related sisters, referencing both Calais-Fréthun and Calais-Ville stations in Calais, France.

Calais-Fréthun station (French: Gare de Calais-Fréthun) is an SNCF international railway station in the suburbs of Calais, France. It is one of four stations serving the town; the others are Calais-Ville in the town centre, Fontinettes in the suburbs, and Beau Marais in the suburbs. The station has four platforms, two on the high-speed line for Eurostar services, and two for SNCF TER Hauts-de-France regional services. The TER platforms are also used by some TGV long-distance services.

The construction of the Channel Tunnel, the LGV high-speed rail link, the Calais - Fréthun station and the Eurotunnel terminal have resulted in a reworking of the classic line, and the destruction of the former Fréthun station. However, the remains of the former railway platform can still be seen to the north-east of the Calais-Fréthun station, which opened in September 1931. On May 26, 2001, the station was the departure point for "Operation Sardine", a train bound for Marseille-Saint-Charles.

Calais-Fréthun is the first station on the continental side of the Eurostar route and passengers can alight here to connect onto the SNCF or LGV Nord services. As of July 2011 three services a day called in each direction travelling between London and Brussels via Lille-Europe. However, these were suspended in 2020 as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, and as of Summer 2023 there is as yet no date for their resumption.

After the 'Additional Protocol to the Sangatte Protocol' was signed by France and the United Kingdom on 29 May 2000, juxtaposed controls were set up in the station. Eurostar passengers travelling to the UK clear exit checks from the Schengen Area (carried out by the French Border Police) as well as UK entry checks (conducted by the UK Border Force) in the station before boarding their train.
