Queensway	"This Mist is getting thicker. Are we close to the Koutetsu Ningyou?"
Yakutsk	"At any rate, it's fortunate that what Yoshino dropped wasn't the source of this outbreak."
Yoshino	"Really sorry. If it had been Yoshino's fault, this would have been seppaku."
Yoshino	"Hmm?"
Queensway	"Miss Yoshino, something wrong?"
Yoshino	"There's no Mist over there. There's that big tree..."
Queensway	"Ah, you're right..."

Yakutsk	"That sound...!"
Yakutsk	"All hands, battle formations!"
Yakutsk	"Samantha! Everyone stay where you are. We don't know what's going to happen."
Queensway	"Samantha...!"
Samanthas, Ghosts of the Mist. Although called as ghosts, they are neither people, monsters or ghosts. They sometimes appear inside Phantom Mist outbreaks, haunting 'something'. They take the form of a girl wearing a cloak, and have been sighted in many parts of the world.
Yakutsk	"Bad things happen when encountering a Samantha. This Mist, too, must have been caused by Samantha."
Queensway	"But I hear that most Samanthas are harmless. Besides, isn't it possible that Samanthas don't create Mist, but merely Samanthas appear where there is Mist?"
Yakutsk	"It doesn't matter either way! It's like a shapeshifting monster, and there have even been cases where an entire army division has been destroyed by one Samantha."
Shimoamazu	"I understand why you would want to say that, but monster is a bit of an overstatement, and Queensway is right about Samanthas. We have to be vigilant, but we don't have to be so hostile."
Yakutsk	"What, are you trying to say I'm scared or something?"
Shimoamazu	"No, you are not. You are very brave, Yakutsk."
Shimoamazu	"I didn't mean to imply that you are a coward. I also know that there are many Samanthas in Eisengrad who attack and trick people."
Shimoamazu	"But please let me at least advise you that it's not a good idea to raise your voice too loud, or take a fighting stance with your eyes wide open."
Shimoamazu	"When you encounter a Samantha, it is very important to remain calm, as Samanthas are very sensitive to people's emotions. They are easily influenced by people's minds and will look into the minds of those that confront them. Don't panic, don't make a fuss, don't get involved. It's like dealing with a bear."
Yakutsk	"They look into your mind? Can they actually do that?"
Shimoamazu	"Some can, some can't. Some can but choose not to."
Shimoamazu	"Some of them don't want to get involved with other people, some of them want to be actively involved. Samanthas the arrive with the sounds of a bell... is often the latter."

Samantha	"Passing through, passing through. Enter the narrow path, to Hell. The doll from the country of Nishiki. Its eyes glow red."
Yakutsk	"...There it is."
Shimoamazu	"Shh. Don't provoke it. Wait until it disappears on its own."
Queensway	"So this is a Samantha... I've never seen one before."
Samantha	"...Hey, you all. Want to play dolls with me? Enter the narrow path, to Hell."
Samantha	"The narrow path behind the shrine is a scary path to Hell. Come along and play dolls with me?"
Putra	"Um, what should we do if they are getting aggressive?"
Vivienne	"And what's more, it's saying some really scary things..."
Yoshino	"Enter the narrow path, to Jigoku..."
Yoshino	"Hey Samantha, where is this narrow path?"
Putra	"Wait Yoshino, don't say unnecessary things!"
Vivienne	"Yeah! If we just ignore it, the Samantha will be quiet."
Yoshino	"But will the Samantha just disappear on its own? And it's kinda sad if it does."
Samantha	"You are so sweet. Will you play dolls with me?"
Yoshino	"Never said that, Yoshino was only asking a question."
Yoshino	"This, where is this path that you say leads to Jigoku? Do you mean, the shrine?"
Samantha	"It's right there. When this Mist clears, you will be able to see it."
Samantha	"So why don't you come and play dolls with me?"
Shimoamazu	"Samantha, I'm very sorry, but we don't have time to play dolls now. We are in the middle of looking for one. So can we play some other time?"
Samantha	"Really? That's too bad."
Samantha	"Are you looking for a doll with hollow eyes? Or a doll with glowing red eyes?"
Shimoamazu	"That's the Koutetsu Ningyou!"
The Samantha then lifted up and showed Shimoamazu the Koutetsu Ningyou heads she was looking for.
One is the same as the one Shimoamazu had. The other is a 'living' Koutetsu Ningyou... with two glowing red eyes.
Shimoamazu	"It's a living Koutetsu Ningyou. Everyone get away from that Samantha now. The more magic it sucks out of us, the stronger the Mist it breathes."
Shimoamazu	"Especially Yoshino and Vivienne, don't use magic or sorcery. If you miss, everything will be converted into its power."
Vivienne	"Then how are we going to fight with that?"
Shimoamazu	"You don't fight it, you seal it... like this."
Samantha	"Oh, the doll on the right has lost her eyes too."
Samantha	"Shimoamazu. You sure play with dolls very well."
Shimoamazu	"Yes, I have loved playing with dolls since I was a child. I hope you've had enough though. Please, let us be away for today."
Samantha	"......"
Samantha	"Soon the Mist will clear. The narrow path leading to Hell will appear in the shrine."
Samantha	"Going in is easy, going out is scary..."
Samantha	"Come play with me in Ningyou Jigoku..."

Putra	"Scary, Samantha, scary! What the heck is that thing? It's several times scarier than in my textbooks!"
Yoshino	"Hey, everyone, look..."
Putra	"Look where?"
Yoshino	"Is that the shrine Samantha was talking about?"
Putra	"If so, that means it leads to Hell, right?"
Yakutsk	"It could be the Samantha's trap, but it's valuable information for our investigation of the Koutetsu Ningyous. Let's go check inside immediately."
Putra	"Wait, seriously!?"
Yoshino	"Wait, Yakutsk."
