We continued through the forest northwest of the inn town, until we came to the same place where we encountered the Samantha yesterday.
The Mist was not as thick along the way, yet the shrine where the 'narrow path to Hell' is said to be located exactly as it was yesterday. The Train Knights get nervous as they realise that it wasn't an illusion manifested by either the Koutetsu Ningyou or the Samantha.
Queensway	"Miss Vivienne, is the area secure?"
Vivienne	"It seems fine. So far I don't see any traps or suspicious objects. Just in case, I've set up a beacon and an alarm to mark our current position."
Yoshino	"Nothing unusual around the shrine either. Checked with Shimoamazu together, but there are no signs of sorceries."
Putra	"Paddington, have you told Ohana where we are heading?"
Paddington	"Perfectly! If we don't return by nightfall, then the Tsukiyo Banshuu of the Nishiki Army will head out to search for us."
Putra	"The Tsukiyo Banshuu look really strong. Oh Ohana, you're so reliable."
Shimoamazu	"The Tsukiyo Banshuu is the best of the best of the Nishiki Army. They have achieved success on many battlefields, without publicizing their achievments. It is said that whenever there are covert operations such as spiriting away incidents and pmo exterminations, the Tsukiyo Banshuu are always involved."
Yoshino	"Jyunbi ha bantan. Ready to leave whenever."
Conductor	We've done what we can. All we have to do now is to investigate inside the structure.
Shimoamazu	"There are no responses nearby from any Koutetsu Ningyou. If there's nothing in this shrine, we'll have to check other areas from scratch. I don't want to deal with another Samantha again."
Putra	"Fore sure, anything but that."
Shimoamazu	"Well, let's go inside then."
With Shimoamazu taking the lead, we step into the small shrine one by one. The interior of the lone shrine in the middle of the forest is much smaller than I had imagined. There are eight people in the shrine including Shimoamazu, so we're packed enough to be unable to sit or lie down.
Queensway	"There's nothing inside. Really, just the floor, the walls and the ceiling..."
Vivienne	"I don't even know what this shrine was put up for if it's so simple."
Yakutsk	"Bozhe, so much for a narrow path to hell at all. It's just a shed."
Shimoamazu	"...No. This is no simple shed."
Shimoamazu	"The Samantha wasn't lying after all."
Yakutsk	"You found something?"
Shimoamazu	"Yes, just watch."
Shimoamazu places her right hand on the wall and quietly closed her eyes. Her left hand seems to be drawing some kind of an art in the air, but what could she be doing?
Shimoamazu	"You won't make me tell you to let me through. You'll do whatever it takes to get me through."
Yakutsk	"A hidden door! I had no idea..."
Shimoamazu	"It was sealed by sorcery. This door would never have been opened if me or Yoshino wasn't here."
Shimoamazu	"From here onwards, it is the same as inside the Phantom Mist... perhaps even more dangerous. We are about to enter the realm of the 'spirited away' of our own volition. Perhaps we may never come back."
Yoshino	"But there is always a way back. It's not as scary as the Phantom Mist. We have to proceed to save the people of this town."
Shimoamazu	"Yoshino..."
Yoshino	"So don't worry, for Nana's sake, let's all work together and do our best."
Shimoamazu	"......"
Shimoamazu	"Just to be safe, there's something I need to check with everyone."

Yakutsk	"OF COURSE I'M FINE. GO RIGHT AHEAD AND SHOW ME THEM CURSED NISHIKESE DOLLS OR MATRYOSHKAS."
Paddington	"I'm doing absolutely lovely too!"
Yakutsk	"I won't fall for the same trick anymore. Wait, shouldn't Paddington stay behind?"
Paddington	"That's not possible. My job is to be Conductor's support!"
Shimoamazu	"Conductor-san seems to be doing fine too."
Conductor	Yeah, I don't feel particularly sick. My body is in perfect health.
Conductor	But why are you asking this now? All of us here have come prepared. We have taken precautions in case something happens.
Shimoamazu	"There's no point in hiding it, so I'll be honest with you."
Shimoamazu	"Right at the moment we entered this shrine, a very strong curse was triggered."
Queensway	"A curse!?"
Putra	"Not a sorcery?"
Shimoamazu	"They're similar yet different. Negative emotions that seek out people who meet certain conditions. That's what curses are. In most cases, bad things will possess the subject."
Shimoamazu	"I don't know what effect it has, but curses on places or things are often easier to wear off you move away from them."
Yoshino	"......"
Shimoamazu	"This is just my intuition, even a guess."
Shimoamazu	"I have a feeling that Yoshino is cursed. Your body - has anything entered inside?"
Queensway	"Miss Yoshino! Really!?"
Vivienne	"Yoshino, are you fine? Just tell us the truth, okay? Don't you dare lie to us."
Yoshino	"Yoshino is fine. Can use sorcery and body is fine."
Vivienne	"Oh, thank goodness..."
Yoshino	"But, it's true that something is inside me."
Vivienne	"!?"
Yoshino	"After entering the shrine, Yoshino felt something went inside the body. Ever since then, there's been weird ringing inside the ears."
Yoshino	"Can hear voices in the distance."
Shimoamazu	"Conductor-san, I think we should leave Yoshino behind, let's send her back to the inn with Paddington."

Yoshino's brief, loud yell echoed across the dark, narrow shrine. I have never seen Yoshino so emotional before.
Yoshino	"Yoshino is not a child. Knows whether can be useful to everyone or not. If Yoshino not good enough, then will tell not good enough..."
Yoshino	"So please don't leave Yoshino behind. Please take Yoshino with you, Yoshiono has to go with you..."
Putra	"What should we do? I don't know anything about curses."
Vivienne	"But if Yoshino says she's okay, then she's okay I guess..."
Yakutsk	"Let's take her with us."
It was Yakutsk who said that. She places her hand on Yoshino's trembling shoulder, trying to calm Yoshino down.
Yakutsk	"If we send her back to the inn like this, it doesn't mean that she will be able to break the curse she received in this shrine. We don't have enough information. Instead, it's better to gather information while Yoshino is still able to move about."
Yakutsk	"Besides, aren't we all mistaken in the first place? Who decided that if we go on ahead, we can never come back? It might just be a cave over there, and Hell might not even exist."
Queensway	"You have a point..."
Putra	"I guess we were a bit freaked out."
Vivienne	"It's like fighting inside the Phantom Mist, we never know what's going to happen."
Yakutsk	"Shimoamazu, you know a lot about Nishikese sorcery, yes? Then you should examine Yoshino first. If you don't see anything wrong, we'll take her along. Otherwise, we will all go back and look for a way to break Yoshino's curse."
Yakutsk	"Any objections? Conductor?"
Conductor	None, Yakutsk is right. We all have the option of 'turning back'. The Samantha's words have misled us as I didn't realise how simple it was.
Shimoamazu	"Yoshino, let me see your eyes. And then your ears and tail."
Yoshino	"Yoshino is fine, can do it. Yoshino's ready capable now..."
Shimoamazu	"No one thinks you are not capable. We all think you are a very reliable sorceress."
Shimoamazu	"But it's not wise to get emotional here. You're smart enough to know that, aren't you?"
Yoshino	"Shimoamazu..."
Shimoamazu	"Now, come here. I'll give you a hug and make sure you're not possessed by anything dangerous."
Shimoamazu spread her arms and hugged Yoshino. Young Shimoamazu likely gave the same hugs as a form of skinship that she came up with herself to calm Amanohashidate's heart. It is a way of communicating between hearts, even if words cannot be conveyed.
Shimoamazu	"...I knew it was something like that."
Shimoamazu	"So far there seems to be no problem. That's good. Let's have Yoshino come along as agreed. I'm sorry I told you to turn back without checking on you first."
Yoshino	"No, it's Yoshino who should be sorry for shouting."
Shimoamazu	"Let's be quick and sure. If Yoshino feels anywhere unwell, we'll all go back. Don't forget that we can always choose to leave."
Queensway	"Paddington, it's up to you to memorise the route for us."
Paddington	"Leave it to me! I'll memorise everything perfectly, not overlooking one speck on the wall!"
Shimoamazu	"Then, I'll open the door."
Vivienne	"Welp, time for us to go to Hell."
Putra	"I'd sure like to go to Hell, preferably with a cute doll to greet me kindly. Maybe they'll even serve us tea and stuff."
Yoshino	"Yakutsk, thank you for earlier."
Yakutsk	"I didn't do anything that's worth thanking me for."
Yakutsk	"But you really shouldn't overexert yourself, okay? You have a very important friend waiting for you, right?"
Yoshino	"A very important friend..."
Yoshino	"Yes, Nana is Yoshino's very important friend."
