On the appointed day, Putra announced her name at the door, and the door opens easily, despite her wish that the request was a mistake. |
Putra |
"Sorry to distuuurb you!" |
I entered the lady's house together with Putra. She seems to be wealthier than I thought, and I regretted that I let her take the job so easily. If something goes wrong, it could be a big deal. |
Putra |
"You didn't even have to come, Conductor... Gosh I'm not that much of a child, don't babysit me...!" |
Putra |
"Ah, sorry bout that bother, mother! Now then, I'm going to get your daughter into a fit of laughter hereafter..." |
The lady led us deeper into the mansion. Still, despite the vastness of the mansion, it's worrying that there's very little people. |
Putra |
"Hello there, I'm sorry to disturb you for a moment~!" |
Putra |
"How are you feeling? I'm going to make you full of energy with my live comedy now~" |
No response from behind the bed, which is closed off by a thick laced canopy. |
Actually, on the conditions of accepting the commission, the lady made us promise a couple of things:
One, never open the canopy;
Two, never force a conversation; |
Apparently, these are measures to avoid aggravating her daughter's condition, but this must be very difficult for performers. They said they can see her from the other side. |
Putra |
"Well then, I'll get right to it~ First, the courting dance of the eldest son slime!" |
Putra |
"Hmm, you seem to have an eye for humour! Now for the courting dance of the second son slime!" |
Putra |
"And now for the courting dance of the third son sli~me!!" |
Sure, rhyming and repetition are some of the essential comedic devices, but in Putra's case, I don't think she's thinking that far ahead... |
Putra |
"Hah... ghahah... she's a good one. If this doesn't work, guess I'll just have to attack her with my Seaweed Series on a steel plate..." |
She seems to have a wide repertoire of gags, as she's usually very loud about them. But more importantly, is that the lady's daughter still wasn't laughing at all. |
It must be mentally tough for the performers not knowing how the audience will react. But Putra doesn't give up. |
Putra |
"Alright, next! ...Oh is it time already? Is the show over for today?" |
Putra looked disappointed at the instructions of the lady who entered the room. But she did not seem to have given up at all yet. |
