We had just secured and established a line of defence when Queensway was attacked.
We were on alert on this point for a while, as we were not aware of the enemy's presence until we were attacked, partly because it was a magical attack from a long distance.
Yuuzen	"There doesn't seem to be any follow-up attack. It looks like it was really just one mook from earlier."
Yuuzen	"Miyako, how are things on Queensway?"
Miyako	"She's fine. She hasn't received any curses. There doesn't seem to be any sorcery or magic."
Yuuzen	"Now it's up to Mary to find out who it was that sniped her."
Mary	"I'm back."
Yuuzen	"Welcome back. Took ya long?"
Mary	"No, not at all. Just that it was further away than I thought. It was just hard to get around without being noticed."
Yakutsk	"So, what was it that was after Queensway?"
Mary	"Just a monster."
Yakutsk	"Just a monster?"
Mary	"Yeah. A normal Mist Monster. I was able to instantly kill it."
Yuuzen	"Was it a typical mook?"
Mary	"I think it's a common type of monster in St. Iris, but it looks a bit different. It might have been affected by the ever-darkness and gone berserk."
Yuuzen	"So just a scout and it's that strong? The one in the centre of the Mist might be even stronger."
Mary	"If it's a well-organised army, the attack wasn't a threat, it was an assessment of our strength. I suppose we should consider it as a demonstration of their capabilities."
Queensway	"It really does seem like we're fighting humans. It's a bit different to fighting to clear the Mist."
Yakutsk	"......"
Queensway	"Miss Yakutsk? Is something wrong?"
Yakutsk	"I was thinking, why don't we just turn around?"
Queensway	"Retreat, you say?"

Conductor	It's hard to decide, but I think it's better for us to stay here and see what happens, since there are no reinforcements from the Order.
Conductor	If the enemy is really a group of intelligent monsters, there is a possibility that they could march in as we retreat. Because of the ward set up here, this is a very important chokepoint for us to build a front line.
Mary	"Let's split up. Yuuzen and I will meet up with the Out-Siders. If we can borrow some troops, we'll head straight towards them."
Yuuzen	"Well, that's a safe move. Mary and I can get through with just the two of us."
Mary	"As soon as the Out-Siders are ready, I'll head back to the castle, in case Islington's trump card doesn't work."
Queensway	"Work?"
Mary	"It means I have my trump cards too. I was a knight of some renown, you know. It's in the textbooks, yes?"
Queensway	"You're going to get us reinforcements!?"
Yuuzen	"Yes that's enough."
Queensway	"Ngh!?"
Yuuzen	"Queensway. Ya need to learn the meaning of 'shut up'. 'Yer big mouth is a curse'."
Queensway	"I'm sorry..."
Mary	"Well, no choice, but I'm going to leave this to you, Conductor. I want you to buy as much time as you can, but don't hesitate to pull out if you see what they're up to."
Conductor	"Mary and Yuuzen, please be careful back there. If anything, it is you two who are in danger. I know what you two are capable of, but the situation is such that not everything will go the same way as before.

Mary	"Well, I'll be going. Queensway, make sure you do it right."
Queensway	"Yes! Take care!"
Yoshino	"And thus Miyako disappeared without saying goodbye to Yoshino."
Vivienne	"Oh, you're clearly depressed. Your ears and tail are flat.
Yoshino	"Yoshion's not depressed, very happy that Miyako has more friends".
Vivienne	"Oui, agreed. I think so too."
Vivienne	"To Miyako, Yuuzen and Yoshino are very important. It doesn't matter which one is more important."
