Boss Rush is a special event featuring 5 quests, each with 5 waves of bosses. Boss Rushes are available in 3 difficulties with varying rewards. Each quest in Boss Rush is unlocked every 2 days.

Event Information

  • The event is a free event, and the details of this event can be found in the "How to play" section of the event page.
  • This event does not consume stamina, grants player experience or layer experience in all quests.
  • There is no stamina consumption, player experience gain or layer experience gain in all quests.
  • The Veterans Plaque won in this event cannot be used in future events.
  • Bosses in Boss Rush are significantly harder than their story/event counterparts.

Enemy Gimmick

  • "Special Action" turn is set for some enemies. They are special AI behaviours that are triggered under certain conditions.
  • Enemies with special behaviours have skill patterns that differs from normal skills.
  • If the target enemy appears in an 'Idle State'(待機状態), it is clad in a black aura.
  • If the activation conditions are met, it becomes 'Activated State' (発動状態) at the start of its turn, and the colour of its aura changes to red.

  • The conditions for activation vary from enemy to enemy, and include activation after a certain number of turns, or when a specific type of layer is present in the party formation.
  • Some enemies use extremely powerful skills when in the 'Activated state', so the key to battle against enemies having states is to find out the characteristics of their special gimmick and take countermeasures.
  • Skills used by enemies in the 'Activated state' are also displayed in red in the [Skills] column of the enemy information, so please use this information to help you in your strategy. Red skills are not use when not Activated.

  • Boss Rush quests can be retried infinitely.
  • Even if the player is defeated halfway during a quest, progress is still saved.
  • Clearing every wave grants progressively better quantity of Gacha tickets, Veterans Plaque, Mist Gears, Gems and Gold.
  • Clearing Normal difficulty gives 1 S Guaranteed Gacha Ticket per quest.
  • Clearing Hard difficulty gives 1 SS Guaranteed Gacha Ticket per quest.
  • Clearing Very Hard difficulty gives 1 SS Guaranteed 10x Gacha Ticket per quest.

  • Gimmick - Very high DEF. Activated State turn 2 onwards. Breaking the Boss's Barrier makes MDEF go to 10000 MDEF. Avoid at all costs.
  • Status - 60% Stun resistance. Else immune.

    • High Magic Cheer - For 2 turns increases all allies' MATK (Very Major).
    • Ever-Darkness Prison - Every 3 turns, causes Confusion on Position 1 enemy (Moderate).
    • Barrier - -10000 DEF while Barrier is up. Light damage 3 times breaks this Barrier. +10000 MDEF if Barrier is broken.
    • Chaos Hole - Long/All Light/Dark.
    • Chaos Vienna - Long/Single Light/Dark.
    • The Created Darkness - Long/All Dark, for 3 turns reduces Dark resistance (Major).

Quest 5 - Free For All (Released December 31)

All boss enemies have varied weaknesses. However, Light/Dark element may be advantageous as there are no Dark resistances and all bosses except Doku Doku Radio Tower are weak to Light element. Make use of Burst Attacks.

  • Gimmick - Very difficult to Auto-Play, heals 600000 HP every turn. Activated State turn 2 onwards.

    • Master's Wisdom - At the start of a wave, permanently reduce the RCV of all enemies by 100%.
    • Master's Kungfu - Every 3 turns, remove all enemy positive buffs.
    • Master's Rampage - When using Coming of Universe Creation, increases damage dealt by 50%.
