Tayshet	"This Samantha the enemy? Engage?"
Bestyakh	"No! Do not take action!"
Tayshet	"Acknowledged. Tayshet, will listen to Bescha."
Vivienne	"What's with this Samantha, it's emitting offensive magic unlike the rest."
Bestyakh	"Samanthas in northern Eisengrad are often ferocious. It is said that the bizarre tales of the Ghosts of the Mist originated from northern Eisengrad."
Vivienne	"The scariest Samantha I've ever met was the one at Loren Citadel... But that's south from here."
Putra	"So does that mean this Samantha is even scarier than that one?"
Samantha	"The Samanthas attracted to Sakhalin are often not from Eisengrad. Perhaps that Samantha from St. Iris. All Samantha from St. Iris are very docile."
Queensway	"I don't think any of them were very docile at all."
Vivienne	"Maybe because a certain someone cut their heads off? You know, that one with the dorky mask."

Yoshino	"Sei sei sei, calm down. This Samantha looks strong, but don't think she's that scary."
Samantha	"This Samantha is not scary? Beastkin, you are not afraid of Samantha?"
Yoshino	"Not sure about other beastkin. But Yoshino is not afraid of you whatsoever."
Samantha	"Kuskuskus... Interesting. Interesting. Yoshino is not intimidated by fear. Even on the wall overlooking the place of death, she thinks about steel."
Samantha	"Poison is Steel. Steel is Poison. Can Yoshino touch Poison?"
Yoshino	"As a sorceress, can't answer that question. Answering changes the meaning of the word."
Khabarovsk	"Samantha, did the Poison also affect Valentz? Does it have anything to do with the fact that the Wall is now spitting Mist?"
Samantha	"Valentz was originally Poison from the otherworlds. It lost control of its power due to the increased influx of Poison from the otherworlds, just like the Giant Tree of St. Iris."
Samantha	"The Poison of the otherworlds reacts to the magic of Iris Cloud..."
Conductor	Same as the Giant Tree of St. Iris, huh? That's a pretty obvious metaphor.
Samantha	"This is not a metaphor. It's a fact."
Samantha	"The Poison of the otherworlds and the power of the Iridescent God collide. It affects both worlds."
Samantha	"And now the power of the Iridescent God is losing to the Poison, Iris Cloud will be affected by the Poison of the otherworlds."
Samantha	"The harmony has been disturbed. Should this continue, all five Giant Trees will wither, and the world will be ruled by the kings of the otherworlds. The Ever-Darkness King is one of such kings."
Conductor	We know that there are many otherworldly beings who are after this world. But what we are looking for is a way to protect the world from them. We can no longer rely solely on the power of the Guardians of the Giant Trees. At this rate, the five Giant Trees could destroy Iris Cloud.
Queensway	"This world will end if all five Giant Trees become Steel Trees."
Vivienne	"Even if we can't stop the influx of Poison, can't we prevent it from affecting us?"
Conductor	There are many things that target our world and have a negative impact on it. But the ones we have to fight always appear with Mist.
Conductor	--That's Phantom Mist. Poison and Steel always appear alongside the Mist.
Conductor	The Steel Tree of St. Iris obliterated towns and turned the people who lived there into machines. The source of its power is a mist core... of our world.
Conductor	The Poison of the otherworlds flows in with the Phantom Mist. We have learnt that there are two kinds of Mist: the Mist that should not be cleared and the Mist that should be cleared, but which Mist really killed the Giant Tree of St. Iris...?
Samantha	"You are clever. You have very good eyes."
Samantha	"The Phantom Mist that killed the Giant Tree was both Poison of the otherworlds and the Immunity of the Giant Tree. I've told you. The Poison of the otherworlds and the power of the Iridescent God clashed."
Yoshino	"The Giant Tree breathes Mist to counter the Poison. But if it loses the clash, everything becomes Poison."
Yoshino	"The stronger one can take over the opponent. So the Giant Trees of Iris Cloud keep losing that battle."
Samantha	"Kuskuskus... If left unchecked, Iris Cloud will be invaded by otherworldly beings."
Samantha	"And you all have already met them..."
Yakutsk	"What did you say?"
Samantha	"The Dark Gate has been opened in Eisengrad. Go through the Steel Gate to the Underworld, where the Giant Tree of Eisengrad is calling for help."
Conductor	Where is the Steel Gate? Do you mean that the Dark Gate is a Metro Hole?

Samantha	"I will now take you there. Eliminate the gatekeeper and move on."

Yakutsk	"Is this...?"
Bestyakh	"It looks like we've been brought back down to the subterranean world. I don't recognise that creepy gate in front of me, though."
Samantha	"That's the 'Steel Gate'. The railway line leading north of Valentz, freed by the Conductor's power."
Samantha	"Beyond that is the Dark Gate. It is the railway that leads to the subterranean world."
Vivienne	"That light is the one I just saw from the top of the Wall."
Yoshino	"Did the Metro Hole open because Shashou injected iron into the lift? Is that why there are tunnels in the Wall?"
Samantha	"Poison and the Iridescent God's power affected each other. Conductor's magic is powerful enough to neutralise the amplified Poison. A power that those of the Otherworld are most wary of."
Samantha	"O' child of Ricardo. You must confront the Poison of the otherworlds. You shall bring harmony to the world instead of the five Giant Trees."

Yakutsk	"Hey! Wait! Don't disappear right at this moment!"
Khabarovsk	"How can Conductor's magic power match the power of a Giant Tree? One Conductor can replace five Guardians......?"
Conductor	Of course that is not possible. One person can't possibly have that much power. It is impossible to resist the Poison without the power of the Giant Trees or the Iridescent God.
Conductor	Such Poison is strong enough to wither the Giant Tree of St. Iris. It will not be so easy to neutralise it.
Yoshino	"If he could do such a thing by himself, even the Iridescent God would be surprised."
Queensway	"Um, there's something I've been wondering about..."
Queensway	"That Steel Gate, when I looked closely, doesn't it look like the thorns of the Steel Tree?"
Vivienne	"Indeed!"
Putra	"I thought it was just a hole when the Wall collapsed, but I'm wrong. It's a tangle of thorns that have unraveled to form a tunnel."
Queensway	"In other words, Sir Conductor's power can manipulate the thorns of the Steel Tree."
Queensway	"Sir Conductor can move those thorns out of the way! There might be something like that device somewhere. If you inject iron into it, the steel thorns would react."
Yoshino	"Ruins and altars could also play a role. This is a significant discovery, Queensway-kun."
Khabarovsk	"As I recall, the Steel Tree thorns appeared to block the railway line. If we refer to Railways of Giant Trees, we may be able to see the gates that need to be opened."
Khabarovsk	"Look. The railway line continues under that gate. It looks like neither the Poison of the other world nor the steel thorns can crush the railway."

Tayshet was quick to sense the presence of powerful enemies and readied her weapon. Noticing a shadow emerging from the direction of her gaze, towards the Steel Gate, Khabarovsk and Bestyakh stood on Tayshet's side and took up combat positions.
Yakutsk did not join them. She fell back to protect us.
She grabbed Paddington by the neck and get her down to the ground. She then shouted Queensway's name, letting us know that the enemy was not only the 'shadows' in front of us.
- A massive horde of the dead. It is the Wandering Lives.
There was no Mist, no signs, yet suddenly countless Wandering Lives appeared all around us.
Yakutsk	"Wandering Lives! We are surrounded!"
Queensway	"Oh no, where did they come from in such a short time!?"
Khabarovsk	"That thing called them in, right as Tayshet raised her weapon, it did something."
Bestyakh	"This is the alpha who controls the Wandering Lives. The only way to get through this is to defeat the manipulator."
Khabarovsk	"Looks like it. It's impossible to deal with this many Wandering Lives. We'll take on the alpha before we're struck down."
Khabarovsk	"Yakutsk, Bestyakh, follow me. The three of us from Spetsgruppa Alfa can take on that mook."
Yakutsk	"Affirmative! Move out, Bestyakh!"
Bestyakh	"Yes, dearest sister."
