| Having somehow managed to meet up with the others in the (provisional) city of a strange, super-ancient civilisation, we took the time to investigate the surrounding area. We couldn't start anything until we first grasped the current situation. | ||

| Seemingly trying to cheer herself up, Shibuya leaned close to Udon Thani, who's been sitting in front of the strange machine for a long time, looking worried. She then gave a mischievous smile, typical of her. | ||

"Here's good news for Udon Thani! Jyan~☆." | |

"? Is this...?" | |

"Made it using some portable food that Goshujin had, and some canned food that's found around here that's maybe edible, it's a Christmas cake!" | |

"Yes! Before we knew it, the night had passed and today is already Christmas Day!" | |
| Shibuya placed the cake(?) on the floor, made using hard tack and rock sugar, and had set up candles and decorated with origami to somehow create a Christmas-like atmosphere. | ||

"Let's have a party, party party! In the end, Shibuya-san and the gang couldn't give everyone presents -" | |

"Even so, it's inappropriate to enjoy a party! It's Christmas only once a year, Shibuya-san's a bad girl!" | |

| Seeing Shibuya trying to act as cheerful as possible, Udon Thani also smiled after a long pause. | ||

"Let's have a gangsta Christmas, shall we?♪" | |
| The three of us then enjoyed a long, silly party. Shibuya sang, Udon Thani danced, and I did a few tricks of my own. | ||

| And so we fooled around until we were satisfied, and then reconfirmed the current situation once again. | ||

"Yes~. We've just been transported back to a very ancient time." | |

"Serious. I just calculated it from the machine's records, so I'm sure there are some errors." | |

"Let's see, a hundred thousand years ago, isn't that a primitive age or something, when our ancestors were living in caves, hooting and hollering?" | |

"And yet, from what that can be seen, there is civilisation here. It's full of huge buildings and machines, it's more developed than today!" | |

"Well, now it looks like everything has been destroyed and abandoned. It's not popular at all, it's a ghost town." | |

Thanks to that, we were able to explore safely without any conflict with the locals(?). | |

"That's right! Always look on the bright side! There's a large stockpile of preserved food here and there, so it looks like we won't have to worry about starving to death for a while!" | |

I don't intend to spend the rest of my life here, though. We'll find a way to get back to our own time somehow. | |

"No, um, I'm sorry.... I've been think about it, and I'm not sure if we can properly return to the original era." | |

| While gently hugging Shibuya a little unnecessarily, Udon Thani looked up at the sky through the collapsed wall. | ||

"Can you see the countless cracks in the sky?" | |

Portals connecting to different worlds - like the so-called Gates? | |

"Maybe... We go through that Gate? We went through that Gate and wandered into this super-ancient world~?" | |

"I mean, if we go through it, we should be able to get to the otherworlds. I don't know if that's the world we're from or not." | |

"Are there countless Gates open in... the sky? Isn't that a bad thing?" | |

"Maybe that's it. Everything on this planet is so cold that it's going to freeze hard." | |

I see. I think I know the cause of the recent extreme weather. | |

| Simply speaking. This era is entering the ice age, and from this, a huge amount of cold air must have flowed through the Gates into the present day, where we live. | ||

| Shibuya didn't act like an ignorant, stupid delinquent like she usually does, and in many ways she must have felt a chill - she shivered. | ||

"In short. If we don't close the countless cracks that have opened up in the skies of this era, in other words, the Gates -" | |

"Maybe, every other world connected by Gates will be frozen to the limit and destroyed~... The ice age is not an environment we can live in." | |
