A large hand crushed Samantha, the guide.
Red blood dripped from the crevices of the large black hand.
Eventually, the hand relaxed its grip. Bright red blood came pouring down in a dribble, in large quantities.
There was no trace of the flesh that would have remained if it had been a human body. However, in the hand that had crushed Samantha, was a large amount of red blood, just like ours.
Yakutsk	"Isn't this, blood..."
Queensway	"But nothing else. Why would there be a large amount of blood left behind, and only blood..."

The King of Ever-Darkness unleashed a powerful attack magic very quickly. Vivienne, noticing the magical reaction, deployed defensive magic, and Mary responded accordingly.

Mary repelled against the King of Ever-Darkness's offensive magic and created a small gate in the process.
And another. An exit Gate appeared inside the Mist Train's car.
Mary pushed Queensway through the Gate and Queensway tumbled out of the exit Gate. It appears to be a Gate built to let Queensway escape.
Mary	"Go. No one must be missing. We must all free the Guardians of the Giant Trees!"
Vivienne	"Paddington, hurry up and go! A lot of monsters are coming out from the darkness. If we don't, they'll stop the train from moving!"
Paddington	"Roger that. Mist Train, full speed ahead! We're diving for the Gate!"
Queensway	"Mary..."
Yakutsk	"It's OK, Queensway, Mary can use her Gates. She said she was going to evacuate."
