Brittany	"This is the Metro Hole that appeared with the lightning."
Euston	"It's almost identical to the one at St. Iris."
Versailles	"I don't see any seals or traps, it's a functioning Metro Hole. It's very different from the one Miyako and I went through."
Putra	"I see."
Putra	"......"
Putra	"So uh, what does that mean?"
Versailles	"It means that this Metro Hole is always ready for use. Using the Mist Train, we could be on our way to Metro right now."
Versailles	"......"
Versailles	"...Right now, we should be heading there."
Euston	"It's a bit scary to be found in such perfect condition. It makes me wonder if it could just be Phantom Mist."
Brittany	"We've already investigated this prior. We've casted all known Mist-countering magic or art to this Metro Hole and yet it is completely unaffected."
Euston	"Are these techniques and magic reliable?"
Brittany	"Oui. It is the secret art of my mother and grandmother, the chiefs of the Forest Rangers. It is so powerful that it is forbidden to be passed on to the Gendarmerie. There are probably only a few rangers in the world who are able to use similar powers."
Brittany	"There is a strong possibility that this Metro Hole is genuine. However we need the help of the Mist Train and Sir Conductor to be sure."
Euston	"Well, let's give it a try. If it works properly, we should be able to get to M. Verforet promptly."
Finchley	"Wait a minute. Are you really going to make that decision so easily? Wouldn't it still be dangerous, regardless of how much investigation that has already been done?"
Euston	"There must be a reason why the tunnel appeared in this place. I think we should take Sir Conductor's presence here as our opportunity."
Euston	"Now is a good time, when we are not overrun with demons. Even if this Metro Hole closes, we have the Metro Hole at M. St. Iris, so we have a way out. It would be unwise to leave things as they are and do nothing."
Finchley	"I can see that, but..."
Brittany	"I don't mean to be presumptuous, but I agree with you and the other Metro knights. The rangers have already started preparing to coordinate with the Gendarmerie and the Allied Forces, so if there are any problems on our side, we should be able to deal with them."
Brittany	"Besides, I have a feeling that this Metro Hole is calling me."

Brittany	"Wait, that means you too, Mademoiselle Versailles?"
Versailles	"Oui, I felt it as soon as I arrived here."
Finchley	"You mean you can hear voices calling out for the shana people?"

Versailles	"It's like, I have a feeling that someone or something is waiting for me at the other end of this tunnel. Unlike the feeling I get inside Phantom Mist, it is not a bad feeling."
Finchley	"The problem is that no one else but the two shana can hear anything. None of us know, be it Conductor, or the rangers, or even Rennes."
Euston	"But we can rely on the shana's senses. I still think we should go here."
Yoshino	"Hai, hai, can Yoshino say you all one thing?"
Finchley	"What is it, speak."
Yoshino	"Is it possible that the world over here is fine because the world over there is in trouble?"
Finchley	"Maybe..."
Euston	"It's quite possible."
Yoshino	"What if these tunnels lead to somewhere important? For example, where a lot of people live, or where there are no armies. Wouldn't it be terrible if monsters appeared out of nowhere in such places?"
Yoshino	"It's not here, meaning it's in Metro. Verforet in Metro might be in a state of chaos with the Mist and demons by now. Much more than just thunder."
Conductor	Yoshino's points are spot on. This Metro Hole appeared 'out of nowhere', and it may be the same over there. It could be the people of M. Verforet who are dealing with trouble.
Conductor	A tunnel has a minimum of an entrance and an exit, two-sided, meaning that it is quite possible that it is the opposite entrance that is flooded with monsters.
Vivienne	"Are there no demons in Brocéliande because they are all on the other side...?"
Rennes	"Meaning that the Song of Doom might already started singing in Metro then."
Brittany	"Mademoiselle Versailles. How many forces do the Shana villages have?"
Versailles	"Our shana vigilantes are the main force. We also have our Gendarmerie station, but very few soldiers are skilled in combat."
Versailles	"Strong people can be found if you go to Annecy's Jewel Lake, but it's too far away from the Ruins of Thunder or the residential areas. It's in the exact opposite direction."
Brittany	"Almost no rapid response units, huh? It would be quicker for us to go there."
Finchley	"But that doesn't necessarily mean that this tunnel leads to the shana village."
Yoshino	"No one knows where it goes. What matters is what is on the other side. And whether the defence on the other side is strong or thin. Isn't that what we need to find out?"
Euston	"The shana villages are peaceful places with few Phantom Mist outbreaks. Many members of the Gendarmerie staying there are also researchers and scholars."
Euston	"And the shana are not combative people. I would say that their protection is quite thin. Assuming that they must be protected, which troops would be suitable? I'd be interested to hear Miss Finchley's views on this."
