"A Metro Hole has appeared on the west side of Brocéliande."
Rennes had rushed in from the west to report to us, so we were in a great hurry to reach the megalithic group in the north-west of Brocéliande.
According to Rennes, the rangers handling the west side was suffering from bad weather, including rain and thunder. Yet in the scenic area to the east, where the Special Steel Squad was on standby, the weather was calm and without any wind.
--It was not clouds, but deep darkness that called for thunder. --Soon the Song of Doom will be heard. --If the darkness is not cleared before that happens, Brocéliande will be engulfed in disaster.
Rennes said that, but perhaps this is not a problem only within Brocéliande. It is safe to assume that the appearance of the Metro Hole means that something has happened in the subterranean world.
Paddington	"Stop confirmed, we have arrived at the megalithic complex northwest of Brocéliande. As per our mission, the first team should disembark as soon as possible to ensure safety."
Paddington	"Now, there is currently a very dense Mist around the train. Heavy rain and lightning are also present, so please be aware of these adverse conditions."
Vivienne	"The weather is terrible. The beautiful starry sky we had just now is all a lie."
Rennes	"Vivienne, the first team is on the move. There are no sign of hostiles within the vicinity of the train."
Vivienne	"Acknowledged. The second team is on standby."
Putra	"So these are the megaliths of Brocéliande? There are a lot of big stones. I think this is a kind of sacred place for Rennes' Forest Rangers?"
Rennes	"Yes, it is. I think it is best to imagine it as such a place. It is a special place for rituals, divination, magical observations and other special occasions. We the rangers call the centre of these megaliths 'Carrière'."
Vivienne	"The altar at the carrière is often struck by lightning. It is known as an omen of bad luck in the forest."
Putra	"And this time, almost as soon as the omens was seen, something extraordinary appeared."
Rennes	"Oui, a Metro Hole."
Yakutsk	"So Verforet is finally connected to the Metro. Provided, that the Metro Hole is genuine."
Rennes	"I think it's the real thing. It's smaller than the one that appeared in St. Iris."
Yoshino	"The Metro Hole that Rennes saw was created by a lightning strike, right?"
Rennes	"Oui. After a violent lightning strike, magic power accumulated on the altar, which eventually grew to a huge size and became a Metro Hole. Brittany said it was 'like a Gate'."
Yakutsk	"I wonder if the Gate grew bigger and bigger and became a Metro Hole."
Yoshino	"A Gate opened and the Metro Hole revealed itself. Brocéliande's Metro Hole was probably originally located there."
Yakutsk	"Huh? If it was there originally, why didn't anybody see it before?"
Yoshino	"Umm, let's see... There is a hidden place between the visible and invisible worlds..."
Yoshino	"......"
Yoshino	"It's difficult to explain it in a way that even Yakky-tan can understand."
Yakutsk	"The heck, Yoshino doesn't really get it either."
Finchley	"First team, reporting back."
Queensway	"No sign of any Mist Monsters around the train. We've scouted the area at a wider range, but there are no threats present."
Euston	"We're all clear here as well."
Versailles	"There are no new Phantom Mist outbreaks. We can't be too careful as we can't identify the source of the Mist, but the position of the vehicle is secure. Let's continue with the operation."
Vivienne	"They're all efficiently fast. It's Instructor Finchley after all."
Finchley	"Any knight should be able to do this. I was just going about my business as usual."
Finchley	"We didn't have to slow down our pace thanks to the help of Euston and Versailles. They were both absolutely lean in their movements. It was a great job."
Euston	"It's all down to Miss Finchley's quick action that we are able to do this. We have to move seriously too if we try to match your movements. The knights of Iris Cloud are very well trained."
Finchley	"Not really, I'm a lot slower than I was when I was active in service. Your students are very good, and I hope Queensway can learn from them."
Euston	"That's my line, Versailles still has much more to learn, she'll learn a lot from Miss Queensway."
Queensway	"Definitely not 'business as usual', Instructor Finchley is so fast that she might as well be flying."
Versailles	"Knight Commander Euston, too. She doesn't normally move that fast. I think she's a bit over-enthusiastic."
Euston	"Versailles, say that again?"
Versailles	"Nothing, Sir Knight Commander Euston!"
Euston	"Then don't make petty talk. You must refrain from such behaviour on duty."
Finchley	"Queensway, you as well. If you have something to report, report it loud and clear."
Queensway	"Yes sir! Instructor Finchley!"
Yoshino	"Ooooh- a pair of teachers and students from each St. Iris. Both of them are 'taiiku kaikei'."
Putra	"Aside from Instructor Finchley, Euston doesn't seem so scary."
Yakutsk	"Not necessarily."
Yoshino	"That's what our Yakutsk says."
Yakutsk	"Sometimes people who seem to be gentle at first glance are very strict in their training and evaluation criteria. My teacher was that type of person."
Yoshino	"That type of person..."
Yoshino	"...Noted."
Finchley	"I can't believe a Metro Hole appeared while I was in the same unit as you. It's a coincidence. Nice to meet you, Euston."
Euston	"Yes, it's my pleasure, Miss Finchley."
The first team to jump off the train are Finchley, Queensway. Euston, Versailles. This is the scouting team formed by the Knights of St. Iris.
This time, we were originally on a holiday east of Brocéliande, Vivienne's home town, after our mission in Verforet.
Vivienne organised a kind of social event in collaboration with the Gendarmerie to give Metro knights such as Euston and Versailles the opportunity to enjoy one of the most scenic areas of Iris Cloud. This is why the unit formation is a little different from usual.
Rennes	"The Metro Hole appeared when the Metro knights were there. And of the two knights, one of them is of the shana tribe..."
Rennes	"Soeur, this must mean something. My bad premonitions are often right."
