The professors at the academy are trying to find a peaceful solution to the dark mage tulpa that interfered with the Dream Magic of Harz's Halloween. They said that they are trying to achieve a peaceful solution with Dream Magic.
However, Goslar and Quedlinburg, who are both familiar with offensive magic among the Harz, said that Dream Magic might do the exact opposite.
Uncomfortably, we hurried to where the dark mage was. Over there, the professors were in the middle of 'persuading' the tulpa.
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"That's the dark mage tulpa..."
The magical artifact was placed on a pedestal at the back of the room. The dark mage appears to be floating above the magical artifact.
Looking at her body, it is clear that she is a woman, but for some reason she is wearing a Halloween pumpkin on her head, so we cannot make out her expressions.
The academy's professors had deployed to surround this dark mage. Even now, to some audible applause, one of them is in the middle of performing Dream Magic--.
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"I'm sorry, but I still don't think you'll be getting through to the dark mage."
Headmistress
"Well, well, well... Professor Goslar, as well as Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The Academy's finest wizards are all here. Have you come to see the sights by any chance?"
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"No, sir. I've come to tell you that you should stop trying to persuade her."
Headmistress
"It's all right, Professor Goslar. I haven't been able to persuade her now, but all the other professors' Dream Magic is wonderful. I'm sure the dark mage will find it fun in time."
Headmistress
"And now it's Professor Deborah's turn. She's going to recreate The Flamarian Sea, to our surprise."
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"That's our Professor Deborah, she's really good at water Dream Magic. I'm sure she will create a fantastic sea. This is something to look forward to."
Story Shanghai.png
Shanghai
"Amazing! To be able to see the Flamarinian Sea on Eisengrad, I'm so lucky!"
Headmistress
"Ah, you know what I mean then. You don't look like a kid from our academy, but go ahead and have a look."
Story Shanghai.png
Shanghai
"Thank you, auntie! Happy Halloween♪"
Headmistress
"Yes, Happy Halloween!"
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"As expected from Shanghai, she's fitting in fast..."
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"We should all learn from her innocence and openness."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Yes, we do. But I can't really call our Headmistress auntie."
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"I could never do that either..."
While we were having this conversation, Deborah's Dream Magic finally started.
Story Shanghai.png
Shanghai
"WOAH! I'm suddenly right under the Flamarine Sea everywhere! I can't breathe like this~~!"
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"It's okay, Shanghai. This is Dream Magic."
Story Shanghai.png
Shanghai
"I, I see, so it's all just magic."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"And how amazingly expressive this sea is... But I thought Professor Deborah has never been to Flamarine before."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"It's a gift of reading books, folklore, and imagination. I think it's because she's never been there that she was able to express all that strong longing."
Conductor
There were many elements that were not present in the real Flamarine Sea, but she succeeded in creating a fantastic underwater scene. Harz's magi is absolutely astonishing. I too am left speechless.
Conductor
However the dark mage's reaction though--
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"Oh no, how can you not be impressed by this wonderful Dream Magic?"
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"I guess Dream Magic isn't the best way to convince her after all."
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"That's enough... I'm sick of Dream Magic."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"No, she's about to unleash dark magic!"
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"I will magically put up a barrier. All the professors and Conductor stay behind me! Quedlinburg, offset fire!"
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"G-G, Got it!"
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"Now it's my turn!"
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"I won't let you hurt them!"
The magic released by the dark mage and the dark magic released by Quedlinburg collided, generating a shockwave inside the dungeon.
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"Thank you Quedlinburg, that was a close one."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Are you all fine!?"
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"We are fine. The professors are--"
Headmistress
"She really is as rambunctious as she's rumoured to be. Oh dear, my clothes are a mess. But it might be a fun memory for all of us to get messy together."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Amazing, our professors are laughing at each other in this situation..."
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"As expected of Harz's finest magi, they didn't seem to have the slightest doubt that Professor Goslar would provide a barrier."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"Headmistress, now you understand. She cannot be persuaded by Dream Magic. Leave this to me and Quedlinburg."
Headmistress
"Sigh, the dark mage is stubborn too. I understand, I'll leave it to your team, Professor Goslar."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"You heard her, Quedlinburg, we'll take care of it."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Yes, Professor Goslar."
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"Be careful, Quedlinburg."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Leave it to me. I'll do my best to convince her."
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"I can't believe you haven't given up yet.... Hmm? You two are not like the others. I see, you're on the same side as me."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Yes, I'm good at dark magic too. That's why I wanted to have a little chat with you."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"You seem to have an aversion to Dream Magic, if you don't mind me asking you why? Maybe I can help you."
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"Reason? I thought you girls would understand that. I'd rather know why you like Dream Magic."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Because I was born in Harz and I am a Harz mage."
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"Even though you're dark mage? You two aren't very good at Dream Magic."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Yes, we are indeed not good at it. We've never succeeded once."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"I can't do much Dream Magic myself."
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"So it seems. Hey, if you're not good at it, why don't you give up on Dream Magic?"
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"That's obvious. Because we're Harz magi."
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"Tch, you two say the same thing... All of you do that, trying to get away with 'because we're Harz wizards' at every turn. I think you're running away from reality that you only have offensive magic."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"No, I'm not saying I like Dream Magic because I want to turn away from reality."
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"Lies, Harz is not nice to dark mages. You're lying to me!"
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"I'm not lying, everyone from Harz are all very kind. That's why I'm doing what I'm doing."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"It's not too late, if you come into contact with Dream Magic with us, you will understand the kindness of Harz."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"We who can only use offensive magic are still recognised as Harz magi, and I believe that you are well qualified."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"So why don't we walk together? If you have that will and magical power in your incorporeal state, the possibilities are endless."
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"......"
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"......I refuse."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"No way...!"
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"I'm not fooled, there's no way Harz would accept dark magi!"
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"But I used dark magic earlier, Harz is accepting!"
Story Nightmare.png
Dark Mage
"Shut up, you're just being used for convenience. And it's getting more annoying!"
Story Nightmare.png
Nightmare
"Look, dark magic is evil. This is an undeniable fact. So now I - this Nightmare - am going to ruin Halloween in Harz!"
Despite Quedlinburg and Goslar's efforts to persuade him otherwise, the dark mage, now known as Nightmare, started channeling her magic again.
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Miss Nightmare, please wait!"
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"That's enough Quedlinburg, she won't be listening to us now."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Oh no...!"
Story Shanghai.png
Shanghai
"It's fine Quedlinburg, Beijing said that people who have blood on their hands need to get their heads out of the clouds. So I think you should just let her run wild a bit."
Story Wernigerode.png
Wernigerode
"I see, maybe if we let her rant for a while, she might calm down enough to listen to what people have to say."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Both of you..."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"Meine Güte, what a dangerous way you all are trying to go about it."
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"But I agree, let's cool Nightmare's head down a bit."
Quedlinburg's eyes lit upon hearing Goslar's words.
Story Goslar.png
Goslar
"She's coming, everyone get ready."
Story Quedlinburg.png
Quedlinburg
"Miss Nightmare, I'm not going to give up on you."
