Meanwhile -- Fussen joined with the two members of the PR department at her residence, and was investigating the place where we had been kidnapped by the Yeti.
Leipzig	"Hmm. Thanks to Your Highness Fussen, we have received numerous tips from local residents and have been able to determine where the Conductor's team whereabouts were last seen, however--"
Leipzig	"There are overt signs of a struggle it seems, so there is no doubt that 'something' happened here."
Fussen	"It would be obvious at a glance, with the fallen carriage and ammo casings lying around. You shouldn't stick your butt out like that and grovel your face on the ground, you're not a dog - how filthy."
Leipzig	"Yes. But I have to check just in case."
Leipzig	"Miss Murmansk and the others with her - If it is for the sake of rescuing innocent children, I am willing to get covered in mud as much as I have to do as an officer in duty."
Fussen	"Hmph. That's what you cannon fodder are supposed to do, as expected... and even though Volklingen was supposed to be working here, she is by no means an 'innocent' little rascal."
Leipzig	"Hmm. From the information I have gathered along our way, it was said that Her Highness Volklingen was working in the fields here."
Fussen	"You have no need to address her with honorifics like 'Her Highness', because she's a stupid, fallen noble lady who lost the lands and properties she was supposed to protect."
Fussen	"But she should still be proud and regal, I know how she feels - But she's twisted, corrupted, and at the height of her depravity, and it's unbearable to see."
Fussen	"I tried to provoke her back into an aristocrat, by asking her to do some unreasonable demands, but she readily accepted without pride and started imitating a peasant, just like I had ordered her to do."
Fussen	"If she retorted with 'That's not what an aristocrat would ever do!' and challenged me instead, she would have been endearing. But alas, there was room for a bit of redemption."
Fussen	"...Well, I don't care about that anymore. I don't care if she dies like an insect. It's the amusement park that's the problem."
Karlsruhe	"Yes. It's our job to investigate the amusement park and, if possible, prevent the disaster it could cause, and I get the feeling that the Eisengrad military has put us on a lot of burden, even though our PR department is mainly responsible for logistical support."
Leipzig	"Yes. But there still seems to be a strong prejudice and antipathy towards the SSS within the military, so those of us who have a second position there tend to receive strong backlash."
Fussen	"I don't give a damn about your situation, if you want to complain, go do it at the bar. I'm more worried about my little Murmansk that's missing, oh and Conductor, too."
Karlsruhe	"Well, I'm sure they'll be fine for the time being... But this is a precedent to have an adult like Conductor be kidnapped, so I'm not too optimistic."
Fussen	"Hmm. But I still don't understand, is there really such a thing as this amusement park? It sounds like mere bizarre folklore or a fairy tale."
Leipzig	"Yes. In fact, it does sounds like an urban legend--"
Leipzig	"Somewhere in the tundra that cover most of Eisengrad, there exists a strange 'amusement park'. There are lots of fun attractions there that children will go crazy over♪"
Leipzig	"- so on and so forth, according to the rumours."
Karlsruhe	"Yes. A castle shut-in like Fräukleine probably doesn't know this, but it's a well-known rumour that's been whispered around Eisengrad for ages, alright?"
Leipzig	"Yes. The stories vary a little, depending on the region and the age. Said amusement park seems to find orphans who are homeless or nowhere to go, lure them in and sometimes even kidnap them."
Leipzig	"And inside the amusement park... they can have a dreamy good time forever. Forever until the child who has wandered in or has been kidnapped there is satisfied."
Leipzig	"It appears that they can leave said amusement park if they want to, and sometimes children who want to go home escaped from the amusement park - to find themselves thrown out in the middle of the tundra or something and are protected, and they will tell you all sorts of things they have experienced."
Leipzig	"Most of the time it sounded like they made up stupid stories as an excuse for sneaking away from home - and then they are scolded by their parents or guardians."
Fussen	"Hmph, that would be the natural reaction of an adult. I'm sure some of the kids have actually heard rumours about the amusement park or whatever and used that as an excuse for a night out."
Karlsruhe	"Yes. But the problem is - in fact, there have been a number of incidents of children being unexpectedly spirited away in various parts of Eisengrad."
Karlsruhe	"There are also often cases where creepy monsters have been seen in the places where children have disappeared, just like in this case. So the cumbersome military finally decided to listen to us and started investigating - by basically throwing the whole job at us."
Leipzig	"Yes. Regardless of whether the amusement park is real or not, the children have certainly disappeared. This is a missing person case, we cannot just leave it be."
Leipzig	"Even if we do not assume that the cause of the disappearance to be monsters, this time even Conductor, a key member of the SSS, has disappeared... This could be an attack by hostile forces or a crime of some kind."
Karlsruhe	"Eheheh. Could it be that a certain perverted aristocrat is thirsty to kidnap toddlers one after the other in her spare time? - Isn't that a possibility, ja?"
Fussen	"Oi, hold up, is that why you knaves came to my castle in the first place? I like lovely girls, sure, but I don't kidnap them, I acquire them legally, and that's what I'm proud of as a collector!"
Leipzig	"No. From what we see you say and do on a daily basis, Her Highness would be the culprit - and that is what the military concluded."
Fussen	"What in the...? See this is exactly why I hate you all, you're arrogant and prejudiced...!"
Karlsruhe	"Eheheh, our feelings are mutual you know♪ But, in that case, if Fräukleine Fussen is not the culprit - what does this all really mean? Do you really think that the amusement park is real, as the rumours say?"
Karlsruhe	"If so, what is the motive for the crime? Kidnapping lonely children and giving them a dreamy good time? - Who would benefit, and how?"
Fussen	"Hmph. I wish it was just charity, but I guess that's way too good to be true for all of us to expect."
Fussen	"In this unholy world filled with Phantom Mist - There is always an ugly truth hiding behind the Mist that we want to turn a blind eye from."
