Maginot Cannon	"Ma, Magi..."
Vivienne	"It was gone after the last hit..."
Queensway	"You mean that giant weapon was an illusion too?"
Amiens	"But the magic in the ruins that was there disappeared. The Mist Monsters and minecarts that were rampaging above may also have disappeared."
Queensway	"So that enemy called the Maginot Cannon, was the source of the Phantom Mist then?"
Yoshino	"Vivienne, did you miss not having Yoshino around?"
Vivienne	"Oui, I did miss you."
Vivienne	"I really missed you, I missed you so much, that I was almost losing my mind!"
Yoshino	"OOOOOH!? Vivienne, that place you're touching is not the tail, that's the butt. Not for mofumofu!"
Yakutsk	"But the ducts in the ceiling were like a maze. If you weren't for you blowing your whistle, I'm sure I would still be tailing Yoshino's ass all day."
Vivienne	"I'm really glad you two are safe. But how did you know there was a way out?"
Queensway	"Considering the timing of our rendezvous, Miss Yakutsk and Miss Yoshino must have escaped from the terminal soon afterwards, right? Is it that easy to find an escape route?"
Yakutsk	"That's the thing, it's what those two boys I've met in the forest told me."
Queensway	"You mean Mr. Karl and Mr. Emil?"
Yoshino	"Yes, Karl told us to look for the iron floorboards if we got trapped in the Minecart Graveyard."
Yakutsk	"After we got everyone down there, we found the iron floorboards right away. There was a hidden passage under the terminal. We went into the ducts that were in that passageway and went to the lower level."
Amiens	"A hidden passage! That sounds very archaeological! What kind of mechanisms were there in that hidden passageway!?"
Yakutsk	"Well, there were no traps of any kind. Instead, there were a lot of weapons and ordnance lying around. I think it was an emergency storeroom."
Queensway	"So that's where Miss Yakutsk picked up the gun that you fired with."
Paddington	"It says 'Étienne MAS-36' on it!"
Yakutsk	"WHA, what's that all of a sudden!?"
Queensway	"Étienne MAS-36? I've never heard of it."
Queensway	"I mean, does it really say that?"
Paddington	"What? It's written on it, see? Look, right over here..."
Vivienne	"Everybody, let's talk after leaving the ruins. We have to get out to the surface somehow!"
Putra	"Yes, let's get Yoshino to take a look at that minecart we saw earlier! There's some kind of mechanism that we don't understand, and if we can move it, we can use it to escape, can't we?"
Yoshino	"Oooooh-, can take care of that sort of thing."
Rouen	"That talking self-propelled artillery just now dropped something."
Amiens	"A self-propelled artillery can hold items now...?"
Rouen	"This is a map. I wonder if it represents the whole site."
Amiens	"And this one is..."
Amiens	"This is a device powered by mist stones! Conductor, look at this! There's a mist stone here!"
Amiens found a mysterious mechanical device that was processed from mist stones. It appears to be a power-generating device combining iron parts and a mist stone.
However, a mist stone of this size cannot even move a single cart. It would be impossible to consider it as a power source for the entire ruins.
Yoshino	"Hmm hmm... This is a very interesting device."
Yoshino	"Like this, and like this? Connect the wires, and twist the knob..."
Yoshino	"Lever, On!"
Vivienne	"Wha!? What happened!?"
Rouen	"I can feel the electric power of the God of Thunder..."
Yoshino	"Mufufu, looks like Yoshino has done it. Used the sacred something power!"
Amiens	"The cart has been activated! There's energy supplied to it!"
Yoshino	"This is the location that controls power. It's generating very strong energy without using mist stones."
Queensway	"How in the world did they do it without using mist stones, fire or water...?"
Paddington	"That would be lightning!"
Queensway	"Lightning?"
Vivienne	"Speaking of, the cipher Rouen and Amiens initially solved did say to look for 'Éclair'."
Paddington	"Yes, the map of the ruins dropped by Maginot Cannon had many of the words from that cipher on it."
Paddington	"Technically, that word is not 'Éclair' but 'Électricité'. I think it is better interpreted as 'electricity generated by lightning'!"
Paddington	"The language used at this site is close to ancient Verforench, but it's slightly different. This is a cipher text combining the local language developed in the east and a fictional language used within the biography of the elven tribes."
Rouen	"............"
Rouen	"Eh......?"
Paddington	"This is the language that Rouen called fake. The three missing words were 'Chariot', 'Chambre' and 'Contrôle'. If we combine this with the deciphered cipher and add the missing letters to make it work, we get the following sentence:"
'The guardian of Ouvrage Schoenenbourg is isolated. Find the room that controls electricity and move the cart.' Le gardien de l'Ouvrage Schoenenbourg est isolé. Trouvez la chambre qui contrôle l'électricité et déplacez le chariot.
Paddington	"This is the Divine Child of St. Iris's Sacred Holy Power!"
Putra	"No way, you're way too awesome..."
Amiens	"Mademoiselle Paddington, how do you know so much about ancient languages? You've just said that the fictional language in the biography of the elven tribes is a made-up language, right?"
Paddington	"I've read about it in books!"
Rouen	"Read it in books... Do you even realize how many thousands of books there are on elvish biography alone!?"
Paddington	"Things that I've seen just once will never be forgotten ever again!"
Amiens	"Wow, is that what's called rote memory ability..."
Rouen	"I concede defeat. The Divine Child of St. Iris is way too amazing..."
Vivienne	"A-Anyway! The cart works, so let's get the Hell out of here!"
Vivienne	"Yoshino, just to confirm, we can all go together this time, right?"
Yoshino	"No problem, because this minecart has a control panel."
Vivienne	"Good..."
Vivienne	"Come, get on, everybody! Let's quickly leave this rust-stenched iron-fortress ruins!"
On Vivienne's signal, the entire Special Steel Squad gets on the minecart. Unlike the lift we saw earlier, all nine of us are on board.
Yoshino	"Well then, shuupatsu shinko~!"
Putra	"OOOOH-!"
Putra	"Ummm... why is this so freaking slow?"
Queensway	"Even I can limp faster than this with my injured leg..."
Rouen	"Hey Conductor, why don't you try using the mist stone from earlier? There's a blueprint of this minecart here. Says that it can go faster if you put a booster on the power unit."
Queensway	"Perhaps it might go even faster if Sir Conductor injects magic power into it."
Yoshino	"The iron minecart, injected with iron~♪"
Conductor	I see. So it's a similar principle to the Mist Train. Very well, let me try this booster thing.
Yoshino	"T-that's strong power-!"
Queensway	"Uh, I think I have a bad feeling about this..."
Vivienne	"Hold tight, everybody! We're blasting all the way out of the ruins!"
Paddington	"The Mist Minecart is departing towards the surface!"
The minecart escaped from the mysterious ruins of Ouvrage Schoenenbourg all the way to the surface, where the beautiful forest landscape of Verforet unfolds.
Once on the ground, the Train Knights squinted at the dazzling light spilling through the trees. They saw that the forest looked completely different from the view they had seen from the tochka, and knew that the source of the Phantom Mist that had covered the area had been extinguished.
The grey tochkas that ruined the landscape and the muddy trenches were nowhere to be seen. Even the minecart we had just ridden on had vanished without a trace when we looked back.
--The ruins of the Ouvrage Schoenenbourg itself were a mirage, from Phantom Mist.
Vivienne	"Amiens, Rouen, come here for a moment."
Amiens	"W-What is it, Mademoiselle Vivienne?"
Rouen	"We did well this time, didn't we? I don't think we did anything that would make you angry..."
Vivienne	"What are you scared of? Did you think I was going to lecture you two?"
Amiens	"Because Vivienne is a veteran of the gendarmerie."
Rouen	"Not just a senior too. You're the top ranger and a great mage that everyone admires."
Vivienne	"Hmhmhm, I didn't know you two thought of me that way."
Vivienne	"It's true however you need a scolding to about that joke of a report. I'll report that to the gendarmerie higher-ups, and I'm sure they'll be very angry with you."
Rouen	"Ugh, I went too far. I thought it was important to grab attention, so I went to..."
Vivienne	"However, the two of you helped us a lot with this site investigation. Without you two, this forest could not have been saved."
Vivienne	"This is between you two and me only. I also wanted to show everyone in the SSS that I'm good when it comes to missions inside Verforet."
Vivienne	"But when it came to investigating the ruins, I was completely clueless. I felt inexperienced."
Amiens	"But that's not true! You, Vivienne was leading the team!"
Rouen	"Yeah! Without Conductor and Vivienne, we wouldn't have made it this far."
Vivienne	"Hmhmm, thank you. I love you both!"
Vivienne	"If we ever need help again in the future, please continue to lend a hand. As fellow members of the SSS. And as Verforench elves who love this forest."
Amiens	"Of course!"
Rouen	"If we find interesting ruins, we can go exploring together."
Yakutsk	"Hey, Paddington, do you remember the map of the ruins that Rouen was holding earlier?"
Paddington	"Of course I do. I remember every detail perfectly."
Yakutsk	"Did you see the word 'Ouvrage Fermont' anywhere on that map? I recalled Karl and Emil mentioning it..."
Paddington	"Yes. There certainly was. There were three fortress names on that map: 'Ouvrage Schoenenbourg', 'Ouvrage Fermont' and then 'Ouvrage Thionville'."
Paddington	"However, as the ruins have disappeared, there's no way to find out though..."
Yakutsk	"Yes, I know..."
Yakutsk	"Thanks Paddington."
Paddington	"You're welcome! Please let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know."
Yakutsk	"I wonder if Ouvrage Fermont and Thionville would have appeared had the ruins continued to expand..."
Yoshino	"Yakutsk, it's about time to head back to the gendarmerie station, okay?"
Yakutsk	"Yes, I'm on my way."
Yakutsk	"Hey... Yoshino, Karl and Emil are still missing after all, right?"
Yoshino	"Un. Not even the Verforet Gendarmerie who were at the station have seen Karl and Emil."
Yakutsk	"I wonder if those children lived in the same period as the ruins of Ouvrage Schoenenbourg..."
Yoshino	"Not sure about that."
Yoshino	"But they didn't look so bad to Yoshino."
Yakutsk	"It's not so easy to decide if they're good or bad..."
Yakutsk	"Well, whatever. The ruins and the Phantom Mist are gone, so there's no point in thinking about it any more."
Did Karl and Emil, who Yakutsk and his friends say they saw, make it safely to the west of the forest...?
