Trivia

  • Naypyidaw's birthday is the date of converting the capital city from Yangon to Naypyidaw in 2006.
  • Naypyidaw consists of two individuals in one body. It was assumed that both brother and sister are named Naypyidaw, but as of the June 2023 event Wedding Bouquet for the Immortals, the brother identity is confirmed to be named Yangon, making her the third voiced male character in the game after the Taimanin Collab character Shizuku Kuroki and Tsuri Otsu collab character Asahi Kokura.
  • Naypyidaw's duality theme is based off the Uppasanti Pagoda. The creation of Naypyidaw city is controversial, and Naypyidaw's Uppasanti Pagoda is a replica of former capital Yangon's ancient Shwedagon Pagoda.
  • The backstory of Naypyidaw's dual identity after the death of her parents and her brother can be interpreted by readers using two possibilities - Either the soul of Yangon fused with Naypyidaw after his death to protect her, or that Naypyidaw is afflicted by dissociative identity disorder (DID) because of the traumatic incident, and interpreted the coping mechanism to be magic.
  • Notably, Myanmar was formerly a British colony from 1824 to 1948, and some characters in St. Iris are derived from locations in England.
  • Puerto Rico eventually found the stranded Naypyidaw and saved her life. Much later on, Acapulco arranged Naypyidaw a political position as head priest of the Flamarine Underwater Temple. The sisters treated her as part of the family, Naypyidaw calling the sisters as first "elder sister" and "younger sister", then the more casual "Rico" and "Luco" respectively.
  • The building in the background of [Anything's Solvable by Magic] is the Uppasanti Pagoda, a landmark of Naypyidaw city.
  • [Anything's Solvable by Magic] Special Skill, Ksheena (क्षीणे) is Sanskrit for "Waning Moon".
  • Naypyidaw is the first Train Knight to receive her fourth S-rarity Layer, [Parallel Trip] Naypyidaw.

Naypyidaw Central railway station entrance.

Naypyidaw Central railway station (နေပြည်တော် ဘူတာကြီး) is located in Naypyidaw, is one of the largest rail stations in Myanmar and is part of the network is run by Myanma Railways (Burmese: မြန်မာ့ မီးရထား; also spelled Myanmar Railways; formerly Burma Railways), a state-owned railway company under the Ministry of Rail Transportation.

Naypyidaw railway station was opened at milepost No. (233/0), between Ywataw station and Kyihtaunggan station on the Yangon-Mandalay railroad with a station area of 2,700 m × 1,200 m (9,000 ft × 4,000 ft) and a covered area of 334.5 hectares (826.5 acres). Naypyidaw Central railway station platform.

Before the opening of Naypyidaw railway station, Naypyidaw was served by Pyinmana and Lewe stations, though only Pyinmana station is on the main rail line (which extends from Yangon-Bago-Naypyidaw-Thazi-Mandalay). Lewe station is on the way from Pyinmana to Kyaukpadaung. It takes nine hours by train to get from Yangon to Pyinmana; trains leave at 12:00 and arrive at 21:30 local time.

There were talks about building a metro. A Russian firm announced its plan, in August 2011, to construct a 50km line beneath Naypyidaw; which would be the country's first underground rail system, underneath Naypyidaw. However, the Rail Transportation Ministry then announced that the plan had been cancelled due to lack of demand and budgetary limits. Wikipedia

Uppātasanti Pagoda.

Uppātasanti Pagoda (ဥပ္ပါတသန္တိစေတီတော်; officially called ဥပ္ပါတသန္တိစေတီတော်မြတ်ကြီး, also called the "Peace Pagoda") is a prominent landmark in Naypyidaw, the capital of Myanmar. The pagoda houses a Buddha tooth relic from China. It is nearly a same-sized replica of Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon and stands 99 metres (325 ft) tall.

Construction of Uppatasanti Pagoda began on 12 November 2006, with the stake-driving ceremony, and completed in March 2009, built under the guidance of Than Shwe, head of Burma's ruling State Peace and Development Council. The invitation card for the stake-driving ceremony opened with a phrase "Rājaṭhānī Naypyidaw" (the royal capital). The pagoda is 30 centimetres (12 in) shorter than the Shwedagon Pagoda.

"Uppātasanti" roughly translates to "protection against calamity". It is the name of a sūtra prepared by a monk in the early 16th century. It is to be recited in time of crisis, especially in the face of foreign invasion. The massive base of the Pagoda which may be mistaken for a large hill is completely man-made.
