Ohana. I work as the matron in the student dormitory. My biggest joy is to make sure that everyone has a good meal. I don't really like fighting, but I might be of some help.

Trivia

  • Ohana's birthday is the opening date of Ohanabatake Station in 1917.
  • Ohana's beast motif is the Japanese hare, a species of hare endemic to Japan. In Japanese, it is called the Nousagi (Japanese: 野兎), meaning "field rabbit".
  • Her favorite "moss pink", as well as the pink field in the background of [Flower Dance Fighting Master] refers to the fields of moss phlox/moss pink commonly found in Hitsujiyama Park, where the station is named after.
  • The trees and the brick road featured in the background of [Under the Cover of the Moonlit Night] is the Chichibu Muse Park, another attraction in Chichibu city for its cherry blossoms.
  • Ohana is unofficially nicknamed "One Punch Bunny" among the fanbase - Despite her retired status from her duties as part of Nishiki army and the SSS, Ohana's power levels are comically overpowered in comparison to any other character in this universe's setting. This is possibly a reference to Saitama of One Punch Man, as the counterpart train station is located in the prefecture of the same name.
  • Ohana's mother is Shibazakura, titled "The God of War".
  • Ohana's Special Skill, Sweets Eater is a direct parody of Street Fighter's Akuma/Gouki's iconic Shun Goku Satsu/Raging Demon Super Combo.

Ohanabatake station entrance.

Ohanabatake Station (御花畑(芝桜)駅) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Chichibu, Saitama, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Chichibu Railway.

Ohanabatake Station opened on 27 September 1917. From 1 April 2009, "Shibazakura" was added in parentheses to the station name, indicating the station's closeness to the nearby Hitsujiyama Park, which is a popular sightseeing destination in early summer when the moss phlox (shibazakura) blooms. Ohanabaktake features a station soba shop and a smoking area outside the station ticket gate, with the toilet outside the ticket gate installed by Chichibu City.

Ohanabatake station platform.

On December 3, Chichibu holds an annual night festival (Intangible cultural heritage). It attracts crowds from Chichibu, Saitama prefecture, neighboring Tokyo, and the Kantō region. Kawase matsuri is Chichibu shrine's summer festival. It takes place every July 19 and July 20. Eight groups carrying special dashi floats march along to festival music around the city. Mikoshi (sacred portable shrines) are brought to special places in each neighborhood where they are enshrined. Neighborhood association heads wash the Mikoshi in the Arakawa River.

Train operations are suspended annually on the night of December 3 between Chichibu Station and Kagemori Station as the floats are used for the Chichibu's annual Night Festival. Celebrated in December, it spans the first six days of the month, drawing the biggest crowds. The parading of floats is listed as part of the national cultural heritage. The overhead line of the Mitsumineguchi railroad crossing has a structure that can be temporarily removed so that the floats of the Chichibu Night Festival can pass through. The Chichibu Night Festival floats pass through Dankozaka, which opened in 1917 with the opening of the Chichibu Main Line. Wikipedia

Hitsujiyama Park.

Hitsujiyama Park (羊山公園) is a park in Chichibu, known for its beautiful moss pink fields that typically come into bloom around late April to early May and attract droves of visitors. The Hill of Pink Moss fields are located at the southern end of the park and have multiple types of moss pink (or shibazakura) spread over the undulating fields to give them hues of pink, purple and white. The flowers have been planted strategically to make colorful patterns that make for quite the display for visitors.

Located on the ridge of Mt. Buko to the north, the city of Chichibu is visible to the west and the view of Mt. Buko to the south. The park is divided into north and south areas by a small valley in the center. Nine species of moss phlox are planted in an area of about 17600 square meters, and one side is painted pink and white from early April to early May. Moss phlox were planted in 2000, and since then it has become more popular and has been visited by many tourists. The design of the slope is inspired by the hayashi pattern of a musical accompaniment on a float at the the Chichibu night festival, with history believed to stretch back some 350 years, held on December 3, just two days after its inclusion along with 32 other Japanese festivals in UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

During the flowering season, special trains are operated by Chichibu Railway and Seibu Railway. Although there is a parking lot in the park, it is not able to accommodate all the visitors during the flowering season, so temporary parking lots are set up in neighbouring areas and traffic restrictions are enforced around the park, though heavy congestion is an annual problem on the surrounding roads. The name 'Hitsujiyama ' comes from the pre-war cotton sheep stud farm in the county. In honour of this name, a 'Fureai Farm' has been established to the west of the grass cherry blossom hill, where many sheep are kept. During the period of the Pink Moss Festival, the Chichibu-ji Specialty Market is also held in the park, and visitors can buy Chichibu souvenirs and enjoy local cuisine related to pink moss. The Viewing Hill allows visitors to have a view of the town and the mountains of Oku-Chichibu. The park is also featured in a anime, and also Potekuma-kun, the cute mascot of Chichibu City.
